Ai3’s new Beverly Middle School recently received the enthusiastic support of the Massachusetts School Building Authority’s (MSBA) Board of Directors as it was approved to move forward with schematic design. The proposed design takes a forward-thinking approach to the modern middle school, incorporating progressive strategies to create small-scale academic neighborhoods which combine technology, art, science in an environment of cross discipline instruction. Each academic neighborhood incorporates a maker/builder spaces with key adjacencies to art, technology, and the outdoor environment.
