Central Falls High School topping off ceremony

October 2024

On October 8, 2024, the City of Central Falls held a topping-off ceremony for the new 123,844sf Central Falls High School, which will serve 751 students in grades 9-12. This ceremony represents a momentous occasion in the ongoing construction of the new school, as it marks the placement of the final beam, which is a symbol of the amazing progress being made, and bears the signatures of the students, teachers, families, and community members who have contributed to this exciting new chapter for the City of Central Falls.

It has been exciting to witness the building rise from the foundations and begin revealing its final form. The dedication of the Building Committee, the design team, students, teachers, and passionate City officials, whose participation prioritized community, equity, inclusion, and empowerment, all contributed to creating this incredible educational and public resource that is targeting certification as an NE-CHPS Verified Leader.

Ai3 is thrilled to continue collaborating with the City, the School District, RIDE, the OPM (Peregrine Group), and the General Contractor (Brait Builders Corporation) in making this beautiful new school come to life for the students, staff, and community of Central Falls, RI.
