Today, January 3, 2024, marks 10 years since the new Central Middle School in Quincy, MA achieved substantial completion.
Central Middle School was the first new middle school in many decades for Quincy and was successfully built as a three-story building on a tight 4-acre urban site near downtown and the related historical district. This LEED Gold, advanced placement feeder school, which serves 620 pupils in grades 6-8, was the result of a successful collaboration between Ai3, Quincy Public Schools, the City of Quincy, the MSBA, the OPM (Tishman Construction Corporation), and the General Contractor (H.V. Collins Company).
