Hosmer Elementary School is officially open

February 2022

On February 1, 2022, the City of Watertown held a ribbon cutting ceremony for their new Hosmer Elementary School project.  The new 143,500sf building will soon accommodate 590 elementary school students in grades K-5 and 200 pre-kindergarten and preschool students in its Early Childhood Learning Center.

Ai3 is excited for the students, staff, and community of Watertown, MA to enjoy all the amazing features of this new Net Zero Energy school, including a three-sided, open-air courtyard that directly connects to the academic commons – a community feature – through a moveable glass wall.
