On September 19, 2024, the Martin Middle School was “topped off” with a celebratory structural beam, marking a major milestone in the construction progress of this exciting project. The new 164,443sf middle school will serve students in grades 6-8. The design also incorporates a new early childhood learning center containing 16 pre-kindergarten classrooms and support space as part of the middle school project.
Ai3 is excited to continue collaborating with the City, the School Department, RIDE, the OPM (Peregrine Group), and the Construction Manager (Shawmut Design and Construction) in making this beautiful new school come to life for the students, staff, and community of East Providence, RI.
