The new Somerset Middle School is officially open and ready to educate Somerset’s next generation of middle school students! On August 24, 2024, the Somerset-Berkley Regional School District held a ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony for their new 124,200sf middle school, which occupies the former school site and will accommodate 590 students in grades 6-8.
This successful project was a collaborative effort between Ai3, the Town of Somerset, the Somerset-Berkley Regional School District, the MSBA, the OPM (CGA Project Management), and the Construction Manager (Brait Builders Corporation).
Ai3 is excited for the students, staff, and community of Somerset, MA to enjoy all the amazing features of this beautiful new building, including a state-of-the-art 400-seat auditorium, an adaptable student dining space with assembly seating and a large-scale digital video wall to support instruction and the community, and a project lab integrated within each academic grade level for further collaboration and student-driven teaching environments.
