Congratulations to Brait Builders Corporation, who was recently awarded the General Contractor contract for the new Watertown High School project. Ai3 is excited to continue our successful relationship with Brait on yet another one of our school projects, not to mention our third project with them for the City of Watertown! We are also thrilled to announce that the Watertown High School final bid came in more than $1M under budget!
The new urban 200,032sf four-story building will serve 720 students in grades 9-12 in a comprehensive high school learning environment. Once complete, the new Watertown High School will also be the first school in the United States to achieve both LEED Platinum 4.0 and Net Zero Energy!
Ai3 is looking forward to construction getting underway and to continue collaborating with the City, School Department, the MSBA, the OPM (The Vertex Companies), and Brait in making this beautiful new school come to life for the students, staff, and community of Watertown, MA.
