Today, May 10, 2024, marks 10 years since the new Hingham Middle School in Hingham, MA achieved substantial completion.
The new school, which includes a full theatrical auditorium, distance learning theater, engineering fabrication lab, interior courtyard, fitness center, and gymnasium, was designed on a very restrictive site and required careful siting to avoid disrupting continued operation of the existing school. This LEED Silver school, which serves 1,020 pupils in grades 6-8, was the result of a successful collaboration between Ai3, Hingham Public Schools, the Town of Hingham, the MSBA, the OPM, and the General Contractor (Brait Builders Corporation).
