Ai3 is excited to announce that the new South-West Middle School in Quincy, MA is substantially complete! This successful project was a collaborative effort between Ai3, the City of Quincy, the Quincy School Department, the MSBA, the OPM (PCA360), and the Construction Manager (BOND Brothers).
The new 95,732sf three-story building, designed as a community bridge that physically connects two urban neighborhoods, will soon accommodate 430 students in grades 5-8. The new building was carefully planned on a very small site with challenges such as a significant grade change, a densely-populated neighborhood, and flood plain boundaries.
